We are planning another workshop on September 18 to be called “And They Persisted.“
During that session, we will create a piece of art celebrating somebody we admire – a hard-working public figure (i.e., John Lewis , Ruth Bader Ginsburg, etc.), or a beloved relative or friend. (i.e., Mary Kane who will have moved to Virginia by then! )
You will need the following supplies:
- a firm background to work on (ex: Illustration board), roughly 14-20
- an Exacto knife
- a glue stick
- one or more photographs of the person you’re depicting
- assorted words and pictures relating to the person and their life
