Let’s UU the Vote MLUC!!

On September 22, we had an exciting Let’s UU the Vote MLUC Zoom Rally where many of us made MLUC on-line pledges to participate in our get-out-the vote activities. MLUC is joining in UU the Vote PA’s efforts to mobilize 1,000 PA UU’s (20% of each congregation) to “UU the Vote” in PA. We urge you to join in this important effort with the other members of MLUC who have already pledged. Here is what MLUC is doing. Please save the dates and join us. Let’s do ourselves proud by showing up in huge numbers!

  • Vote Forward Letters: MLUC’s goal is to send 1,000 letters through Vote Forward by the October 17 Big Send Date. It is effective, easy, and only takes about an hour to write 20 letters. MLUC will provide stamps, envelopes, blue pens, and/or printed letters if you need them. Let Gail Burgess or Ann Goodman know. Check it out and get your letters on votefwd.org
  • Zoom Productivity Parties:   On Thursdays 10-1, 10-8 and 10-15 and Final Push Friday 10-16,   we will gather for an hour of Vote Forward letter writing, and will share our “Why We Vote” statements, inspiring music, and our favorite beverages. Zoom Meeting ID: 854 2111 0402
  • October 12 Phone Bank 6:00 – 8:30: Please join us Zoom Meeting ID: 825 4620 9059 to make calls in a final push to register voters throughout PA before the October 19 deadline.  Training will be provided during the session. All you need is the Chrome brower on your device and a phone (cell or landline). We would like to have at least 15 participants.
  • October 24 Phone Bank 1-4 PM: MLUC will participate with our fellow UU congregations in the Philly Cluster in a phone bank sponsored by POWER reaching out to Philly voters. For sign up and info: https://secure.everyaction.com/WHwB1iBu6EGBgenPYeOJ5A2
