Setting Up On a Mobile Device
- You do not need a Zoom account, but accounts are free.
- For a smart phone or tablet, look for the Zoom app in the app store and download.
- “Zoom Cloud Meetings”–it’s free.
- “Zoom for Blackberry” for Blackberry users–also free.
- Each meeting has a meeting id. It’s a nine or ten digit number such as 802-910-836. When it’s time for your meeting, launch the app and click “Join a Meeting.” Enter the meeting ID in order to access the meeting or worship.
Setting Up On a Computer
- You do not need a Zoom account, but accounts are free.
- Go to this page and download “Zoom Client for Meetings.”
- Find “Zoom.pkg”, or “zoom.exe” in your downloads and double-click it to install the application.
- Each meeting has a meeting id. It’s a nine or ten digit number such as 802-910-836. When it’s time for your meeting or worship, launch the Zoom application and click “Join a Meeting.” Enter the meeting ID in order to access the meeting or worship.
Using Zoom on a Phone
- If you just want to call in and participate from an ordinary telephone, you can follow these steps.
- Your invitation will include both a phone number and a meeting number. Dial the phone number and, when requested, enter the meeting number. You will be able to participate in the meeting as if it were a standard multi person conference call.
