Every year, millions of birds die from collisions with windows and buildings. It’s one of the leading causes of bird mortality in North America—and it’s largely preventable.
On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Green Conshy Collaborative welcomes Stephanie Egger of Bird Safe Philly for a conversation about why bird collisions happen, why they matter for our local ecosystem, and what Conshohocken neighbors can do to make their homes and neighborhoods safer for birds.
Attendees will also participate in a hands-on activity, leaving with a ready-to-install bird-safe window solution for their home. All supplies will be provided at no cost, generously donated by Liberty Bird Alliance.
The evening includes free appetizers and soft drinks, a cash bar, and activities for kids

How to prepare for the workshop

- The width and height of one window you’d like to make bird-safe (choose an accessible window)
- Needle-nose pliers, if you have them
