Connect, Reflect, Grow
Discover multiple paths to spiritual growth, learning, and connection beyond our weekly Sunday service. Our diverse groups invite you to explore, reflect, and deepen your personal spiritual practice.
Our Spirituality Offerings Include:
- Sunday Services: Our weekly 10 a.m. Sunday morning services invite the entire community into shared reflection, inspiration, and connection. Through music, message, and ritual, we explore life’s big questions and deepen our collective and individual spiritual journeys.
- Meditation: MLUC offers a variety of meditation programs, including two on Sunday morning; one virtually on Thursday evening; two book study groups concentrating on Buddhism and meditation; meditation retreats; and labyrinth walks.
- Small Group Ministry (SGM): Discover deeper connections and spiritual growth through our small group ministry, where members explore life’s profound questions together in welcoming, supportive gatherings. Guided by thoughtful readings and facilitated discussions, these intimate groups provide a meaningful space for personal reflection and community building.
- Weekly Wellness Meeting:A weekly gathering that combines email reflections with Zoom sessions, offering participants a supportive space to nurture personal well-being and build resilience through poetry, music, and thoughtful discussion.
- Care Ministry Team:Led by our Congregational Life Coordinator and supported by Lay Chaplains, volunteers who provide individual conversations and support through reflective listening and non-judgmental presence. Lay Chaplains are compassionate souls who provide a confidential level of support to people who are facing life challenges.
- Caregivers Support Group: This group provides an opportunity for individuals caring for loved ones to come together and share support with others who understand their experiences. Participants also have the chance to exchange valuable community resources such as respite care and in-home care providers.
- Book Groups:Dive into our vibrant book group where passionate readers come together to explore, discuss, and discover new literary worlds. Join us in-person or online as we share insights, perspectives, and the joy of reading—all are welcome.
- Partner Church: Bridging communities across continents, we maintain a meaningful partnership with the Várfalva Unitarian Church in Romania through ongoing connections and shared experiences. Our recent 2024 summer pilgrimage to Transylvania beautifully exemplified our commitment to fostering international congregational relationships.
