Application Deadline: July 17
by the MLUC Board of Trustees
We are seeking members interested in serving on our new Right Relations Team. At the Annual Congregational Meeting, the Right Relations Covenant was approved—and now we’re forming the team that will help us live it out.
The Right Relations Team plays an important role in fostering a healthy, respectful, and compassionate congregational community. Guided by our Unitarian Universalist values, team members help support constructive communication, encourage mutual understanding, and assist congregants in navigating conflict in ways that strengthen relationships and community trust.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are good listeners and can remain impartial
- Value confidentiality and respect differing perspectives
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Are committed to promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, and accountability
- Are willing to participate in training and ongoing learning related to conflict transformation and restorative practices
Serving on the Right Relations Team is an opportunity to help nurture a congregation where all people feel heard, valued, and supported. Team members work collaboratively and are supported through training and shared reflection.
We are putting the team together this summer, so if you are interested in learning more or would like to be considered for service on the Right Relations Team, please complete the application linked here by Friday, July 17, 2026. Interviews will be conducted during the first two weeks of August. Reach out using this form for any questions or concerns.
As Unitarian Universalists, we affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person and strive to build communities grounded in love, justice, and mutual respect. Living in right relationship with one another is a spiritual practice—one that calls us to listen deeply, speak truthfully, extend grace, and remain connected even through disagreement. We invite those who feel called to this ministry of care, reconciliation, and beloved community to consider serving on the Right Relations Team.
