Opera Under the Sky

Join us on the MLUC patio for an evening of Italian, French, and American opera arias sung and guided by soprano Kaitlyn Waterson, bass-baritone Tom Sitzler, and accompanied by pianist Jodie Brown. Following the main program, Kaitlyn will transform into the famous TV chef Julia Child for a performance of Lee Hoiby’s Bon Appétit!, singing an entire, hilarious episode of “The French Chef” while simultaneously baking a chocolate cake. Naturally, chocolate cake will be provided.
