The Witching Hour—a Horror Concert for Halloween
Saturday, October 3 at 7:00 PM — 8:30 PM
The demon Elf King gives chase to a boy and his father on horseback. Baba Yaga contorts and crawls from beneath the earth to curse a grieving widow. Witches perform ritual sacrifice to consort with the Devil. And a young boy encounters the undead, following the sound of a steam engine coming from the woods of Chester County, Pennsylvania. Halloween is just around the corner, and the MLUC Music Staff is already in a frightening mood! Join violinist David Brown, soprano Kaitlyn Waterson, and pianist Jodie Brown for an evening of horror music by Sergei Prokofiev, Ture Rängstrom, and David Brown.
