This Week’s Sermon
Experiencing Mystery and Wonder
Guest Minister Rev. Eric Posa
Unitarian Universalism affirms that “direct experiences of transcending mystery and wonder are primary sources of Unitarian Universalist inspiration.” But what does this mean for pluralistic UUs, who affirm many possible sources for experiences that transcend us? We’ll consider insights from scholars, mystics, and an unexpected musical source.
ABOUT THE GUEST MINISTER
Rev. Eric Posa is now beginning his third year as minister for the Unitarian Universalist Church in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He is beginning doctoral studies at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in comparative and philosophical theology. A UU minister for 21 years, he served many congregations in various states as interim minister.
Music: Kate Saylor, fiddle/voice and Jodie Brown, piano
