Author Richard McKnight, PhD will introduce his book When We the People Lead, The Leaders Will Follow — MLUC’s All-Church Read for Spring 2026. Join us during coffee hour for a reception in the Fireside Gallery.

Drawing on research and stories from communities across the country, McKnight argues that most of us share common values — fairness, freedom, and a desire for a functioning democracy — and that small groups of ordinary citizens can spark real, lasting change.
