Introduction to Playing the Native American Flute

Have you ever wanted to play the Native American flute? In this fun, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to create beautiful, meditative music—even if you’ve never played an instrument before.

Over the course of two, two-hour Sunday classes, you’ll gain the confidence to play the Native American scale and explore simple rhythms and ornamentations.

This two-part course meets Oct. 12 and 19; attendance at both is required.

No Experience Needed

Flutes Provided (or Bring Your Own)

A Native American flute in A minor is recommended. You may bring your own, borrow from the instructor, or purchase one from the instructor for $80.

About the Instructor

Frank Henninger is an accomplished Native American flute performer, recording artist, and a trained flute circle facilitator and instructor.
