New classes for children and youth begin this month. This Sunday, Sept. 7, is a service for all ages which means that there will be more movement, music, and sensory engagement in the worship hour (or slightly less than an hour, sometimes.)  Nursery care is also provided, but we really hope most of our younger folks will join us in the sanctuary.

On Sunday, Sept. 14, The Art Group is offering a home-building workshop for Pre-K to 5th grades to connect us with the Housing Justice initiative. The Crossing Paths class for 6th and 7th graders will meet and start learning about Judaism. And 8th to 12th grades will gather for a first youth group meeting of the year (we’re planning a photo scavenger hunt!)  After the service, parents of 8th and 9th graders taking OWL will gather for their parent orientation.

On Sunday, Sept. 21, K/1st grade OWL begins with parallel orientations for parents and children during the service.

And on Sunday, Sept. 28, we have a family ministry event inviting folks of all ages to bring a bike, roller skates/blades, a scooter—anything with wheels—to ride on the big back parking lot after the service (there’ll be pizza, too).
