The journey to Unitarian Universalist ministry is an exciting one! The path is filled with coursework, study, commitment, self-reflection, and a willingness to let go. Many people have forged this path before me, each contributing to the shared legacy of UU theology, history, and covenant.
As the Ministerial Intern at MLUC, I am absolutely thrilled about the opportunity to learn and continue to deepen my ministry of social justice from an interfaith and spiritual place.
A Ministerial Intern is a seminarian—someone studying for UU ministry—engaged in hands-on learning within a congregation, guided by mentoring clergy. This experience blends academic study with real-world pastoral, liturgical, and community work and is a vital part of ministerial formation.
Folding into the role of Ministerial Intern comes with a sense of humility and responsibility. It truly is an honor to undertake my internship at MLUC, a community I deeply admire. From the engaging small group ministries to the vibrant Spanish Club, the monthly art galleries, the spirited open mic nights, there’s so much richness to explore here.
As I continue as Congregational Life Coordinator, my evolving role as Ministerial Intern will further deepen my contributions. I’m committed to serving this community with care, and I invite your recognition and support as I grow into this next phase of my journey. I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing community
