Rev. Karen G. Johnston is the Settled Minister at The Unitarian Society in East Brunswick, NJ. She is the founder of Date with Death Club, a curriculum-based way to explore mortality in community. Rev. Johnston has won several preaching awards, including the Greeley Sermon Prize (2019) and the UU History Convocation Sermon Prize (2016). Before she was ordained to the Unitarian Universalist ministry, Rev. Johnston was a clinical social worker for two decades.
