Christian nationalism, which promotes the idea that to be a real American, you must be Christian, is growing with a dangerous intensity. It has inspired religious hate crimes, arson and attacks on houses of worship.The same thing is happening abroad. There’s no time to waste. We need a strong response from religionists and nonreligionists alike.

I think part of the problem is fear. We need to read and evaluate the news but not be afraid of change. We know statistically whites will not remain the majority. We need to rethink how to share power and accept the fact all people “are created equal” and we must learn to share our resources and power. We knew this day was coming so let’s get it right for the generations to come.
