Main Line Unitarian Church is an active supporter of the visual and performing arts as a way to engage with our core values. The Artist of the Month program features rotating exhibits of work from artists who share ties to our congregation’s mission and principles. Artwork is on view in the Fireside Room, which is adjacent to the building’s main entry and atrium. Exhibits may be viewed Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and on Sunday, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Some artwork is available for purchase.

Valetta and Friends: January 15, 2020 – March 15, 2020

Valetta Nin was the recipient of the MLUC Solo Show Award, awarded by PAFA juror Michael Gallagher in a Fall juried art show. Rather than do her own solo show, the Board members of Artists Equity were invited to each show several of their paintings as a “Perk” of the job.

Besides Valetta’s work, paintings by Artists Equity Board members Edwinna Brennan, Alice Dustin, Andrea Snyder, Linnie Greenberg, Mary Kane, Barbara Dirnbach and Millie Becker will be exhibited in the Fireside Gallery. January 15th through March 15th.
