Members Art Show April 7-April 28

MLUC Members Art Show
April 7 - April 28 palette 1482678 960 720

This year’s theme is: What I Care About. Your subject can be something that speaks to the environment, justice and peace, the people or places you love, or whatever moves and inspires you to create. Whether you make art every day, once per week, or only one masterpiece per year, we want your work in our show! MLUC members, friends, and youth are welcome to participate. It is always so amazing to see the talent and creativity blooming, sometimes secretly, in our congregation!

Intake will be on Sunday, March 31 in Greeley Library before and after the 10:00 a.m. service. Bring one or two pieces, any medium, wired and ready to hang. Bring your painting, photography, collage, fabric pieces - any way you express art! Let us know if you will need a pedestal to display your work. If you wish to provide an artist’s statement explaining the subject of your work, please email Sabine Rehm in advance. Two dimensions are preferred but 3-D artists may contact Barbara Bugliani to inquire about exhibition space or for more information about participating in the show.

Look for Visual Arts Committee members in the Atrium on March 17 and 24 to answer your questions.
