The Main Line Unitarian Church Meditation Groups are pleased to present “In Your Body, In the Moment”, a half-day meditation and mindfulness retreat. The event is designed for interested individuals from first-timers to experienced meditators. It is complimentary and open to the public.

Register with Sue Compton or Marc Balcer (610-389-0912) so we can prepare the room appropriately. The day will include guided sitting practices, movement and breathing exercises, music, and walking meditations.

Our daily life is fast-paced, full of stimuli and decisions to make. It is difficult to make the time to listen to what our body is telling us, and when we do, it may be difficult to interpret what it is trying to say. We will explore several approaches that may allow us to connect more deeply with ourselves. Through our practice, we will seek to become aware of our body and mind in the present moment.

A meditation retreat is a powerful tool for spiritual growth through which we hope you will gain a solid foundation of the mindfulness meditation practice. Please join us in MLUC’s McGinness Room on December 14. If desired, bring a mat or cushion.
